A Sense of Hope – Bringing Light to Lives Affected by Domestic and Family Violence

A Sense of Hope is a registered limited company with the ACNC (Charity DGR) dedicated to supporting, advocating for, and educating individuals who are experiencing or have experienced domestic and family violence. Founded in Victoria by Lee and Tracey Peak, we have grown to operate offices across New South Wales, South Australia, and Queensland, with our head office located in Caboolture, Queensland.

We specialise in community services, providing holistic care and practical support to those affected by trauma and crisis. We aim to bring hope and healing to individuals and families broken by domestic and family violence through compassionate, faith-driven programs and services.

Our wide range of support initiatives includes:

  • Counselling and crisis intervention

  • Support groups and mental health education

  • Emergency food hampers/food bank or vouchers

  • Emergency accommodation and disaster relief

  • Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care

  • Christian Fellowship gatherings

To further empower individuals through education, we have partnered with Allen’s (RTO) to deliver nationally accredited training opportunities that build confidence and practical skills for the future.

With plans to expand into Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, the UK, and Southeast Asia, A Sense of Hope continues to grow its reach and impact, bringing compassion, care, and opportunity to communities in need.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I was lost. Homeless from a horribly violent DV situation. I spoke to Lee. He was warm and sensitive. I was sleeping on a park bench in Strathpine Brisbane. Lee provided me with food and long term accommodation where I am dry and safe.

What you did for my family the other day was a true blessing.

I just wanted to send a quick message of appreciation for the food hamper, toys and food voucher. I am so incredibly grateful and could sleep easy last night after a super stressful day!! Thank you so much and God bless
