About

A Sense of Hope aims to support, advocate for, and offer educational opportunities to individuals who are experiencing or have experienced domestic and family violence situations.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide a supportive, welcoming, and trustworthy environment where individuals can seek help and find someone to talk to when they need it most. We are dedicated to helping people regain stability and confidence. Through our programs and services, we strive to build self-esteem, nurture self-confidence, and empower individuals to achieve their life goals.

Our Vision

Our vision is to amplify the mission and values of A Sense of Hope through meaningful outreach. We aim to connect with local community organisations, churches, and individuals, utilising advertising and marketing initiatives to broaden awareness and impact. In 2022 we began building A Sense of Hope in Mitchell Shire and Greater Geelong in Victoria, we have now expanded to the Moreton Bay Region in Queensland as well and, eventually, to other states and territories in Australia. Our goal is to establish a nationwide presence and make a lasting difference on a national scale

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I was lost. Homeless from a horribly violent DV situation. I spoke to Lee. He was warm and sensitive. I was sleeping on a park bench in Strathpine Brisbane. Lee provided me with food and long term accommodation where I am dry and safe.

What you did for my family the other day was a true blessing.
